There is something cultural about potlucks and RVing – not that we mind at all. We had the pre Super Bowl potluck last night and the Super Bowl party tonight. Last night’s party also had a silent auction component to benefit the activities committee so we can do what else – have more potlucks!
The Super Bowl party at least wasn’t a two night in a row potluck. It was supposed to be just snacks, but with this crowd snacks really means enough for a meal of them and then some. For this party we had our own expert analyst. One owner of a property here in the park is a former player for the Minnesota Vikings and played in Super Bowl IV where he had 11 tackles in the game. His name is Lonnie Warwick and the has been voted one of the 50 greatest of the Minnesota Vikings of all time. He spoke before the game and during breaks and provided a lot of insight to the game.
